Jefferson City, MO – Missouri Alliance for Freedom today released the results of a Missouri Republican Gubernatorial Straw Poll that began January 4 and ran through January 15. A total of 873 Missourians voted in the online straw poll casting their unofficial vote for their choice in the GOP Governor’s Primary Election.
After eleven days of voting John Brunner came out on top with 449 votes. Catherine Hanaway came in second place with 202 votes, followed by Peter Kinder at 86 votes and Eric Greitens in last place with 83 votes. 53 voters were undecided.
The straw poll while unscientific provides insight into how conservative members and followers of Missouri Alliance for Freedom are leaning in the upcoming gubernatorial primary which is still seven months away. It also demonstrates hustle and the commitment of volunteers as campaigns mobilize their base to vote in the online poll.
